Ingredients

  • 500 g sausage
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbs parsley finely chopped fresh
  • 1 tbs parmesan cheese finely grated
  • 1 tbs allspice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup oil

Method

  • Step 1
    Whisk egg in a bowl.
  • Step 2
    In another bowl combine breadcrumbs, parsley, Parmesan cheese, all spice, garlic, pepper and salt. Mix well.
    Crumbed Sausages
  • Step 3
    Dip each sausage into egg, then into the breadcrumb mixture. Place on a plate, repeat with remaining sausages.
  • Step 4
    Cover crumbed sausages until ready to cook.
  • Step 5
    Pour olive oil into a large fry-pan until base is covered with oil.
  • Step 6
    Heat over medium heat, cook sausages until golden brown or until cooked as desired.
