This is a batch recipe, great for the kids, fetes and cake stalls.
Ingredients
- 500 g margarine
- 1/2 cup Woolworths Essentials Caster Sugar
- 250 g choc bits
- 250 g white choc bits
- 400 g NESTLE Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 5 cups self-raising flour sifted
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C and grease and line 4 baking trays.

Step 2In a very large bowl, with an electric mixer, cream margarine, sugar and condensed milk until light and creamy.

Step 3Add sifted flour and choc bits. Mix well by hand.

Step 4Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls, place on trays and flatten slightly.

Step 5Bake for 14-16 minutes or until light golden brown.

Step 6Allow to rest 5 minutes before removing to cake racks.

- 4 baking tray
- 1 electric mixer
- 1 wire rack
Recipe Notes
Mixture can be pressed out into lamington trays and cut into squares when still warm - saves time.
Be careful not to overcook - the condensed milk will burn.
These biscuits store and freeze well.
