An easy recipe for brownies.
Ingredients
- 185 g dark chocolate
- 125 g butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 egg
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup walnuts chopped
Method

Step 1Grease a deep 20 cm square cake pan, and line the base with baking paper.

Step 2Melt chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, and stir in sugar and eggs one at a time.

Step 3Beat well with a wooden spoon, then stir in sifted flour and walnuts.

Step 4Pour into prepared cake tin and bake in a moderate oven for about 25 minutes. Cool in pan.

Step 5Remove slice from pan, sprinkle with icing sugar when cooled and cut into squares.

- 1 baking paper

- 1 wooden spoon
Recipe Notes
It does taste better with the nuts, but they can be omitted.
