Ingredients

  • 850 g green prawns
  • 4 tbs oil
  • 3/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chilli chopped
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper

Method

  • Step 1
    Peel and de-vein green prawns and set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl add oil, sauces, chilli and fresh garlic.

    Add salt and pepper to taste, mix well until combined.
  • Step 4
    Place prawns in marinade, stir to coat well. Cover and place in fridge for a minimum of 3 hours.
  • Step 5
    Heat a small amount of oil in a hot wok. Toss in prawns and stir fry on high heat for a few minutes, until prawns are cooked through.
  • Step 6
    Serve on a bed of jasmine rice with steamed green vegetables on the side.
Recipe Notes

I prefer to use fresh chilli in this dish.

Use as much or as little chilli to taste.

These are also great cooked on the barbeque.
