A lovely Italian meal.
Ingredients
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 500g chicken mince
- 2/3 cup parmesan grated
- 2 tbs basil chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 200g cannelloni pasta
- 540g tomato pasta sauce
Method

Step 1Preheat oven 180C and lightly grease ovenproof dish.

Step 2Heat oil in frying pan and saute garlic and onion.

Step 3Add chicken, brown well for 4-5 minutes. Cool slightly.

Step 4Blend half Parmesan, basil and sour cream into chicken mixture and season to taste.

Step 5Fill cannelloni tubes with chicken mixture using a teaspoon.

Step 6Pour a third of the pasta sauce over bottom of ovenproof dish and top with filled cannelloni tubes.

Step 7Pour remaining sauce over the top of the cannelloni tubes, then sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.

Step 8Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, uncover and bake further 15-20 minutes until tender.
Recipe Notes
I prefer to use Dolmio tomato and three cheese pasta sauce.
