Ingredients

Chicken mixture

  • 1 1/2 cup cooked chicken
  • 1 cup cheese grated
  • 2 tbs parsley chopped
  • 2 tbs sour cream

White sauce

  • 30 g butter
  • 1 1/2 tbs plain flour
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 chicken stock cube

Crepe batter

  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 2 egg
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cheese grated

Method

  • Step 1
    White sauce: Melt butter and add flour.
  • Step 2
    Cook for 1 minute and add milk and chicken stock.
  • Step 3
    Stir continuously over medium heat until thickened.
  • Step 4
    Chicken mixture: Combine chicken, cheese and parsley.
  • Step 5
    Add sour cream and white sauce, and mix well.
  • Step 6
    Crepe batter: Combine flour, eggs, oil and 2 tablespoons of the milk.
  • Step 7
    Beat until smooth.
  • Step 8
    Add remaining milk and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Step 9
    Pour enough crepe batter into a greased hot frypan to make a thin crepe.
  • Step 10
    Repeat until all batter is used.
  • Step 11
    Layer crepe and chicken mixture in a round casserole dish.
  • Step 12
    Bake for 30 minutes at 180C, then add extra cheese and bake for a further 10 minutes.
