A great family recipe.
Ingredients
Chicken mixture
- 1 1/2 cup cooked chicken
- 1 cup cheese grated
- 2 tbs parsley chopped
- 2 tbs sour cream
White sauce
- 30 g butter
- 1 1/2 tbs plain flour
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 chicken stock cube
Crepe batter
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 2 egg
- 1 tbs oil
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cheese grated
Method

Step 1White sauce: Melt butter and add flour.

Step 2Cook for 1 minute and add milk and chicken stock.

Step 3Stir continuously over medium heat until thickened.

Step 4Chicken mixture: Combine chicken, cheese and parsley.

Step 5Add sour cream and white sauce, and mix well.

Step 6Crepe batter: Combine flour, eggs, oil and 2 tablespoons of the milk.

Step 7Beat until smooth.

Step 8Add remaining milk and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 9Pour enough crepe batter into a greased hot frypan to make a thin crepe.

Step 10Repeat until all batter is used.

Step 11Layer crepe and chicken mixture in a round casserole dish.

Step 12Bake for 30 minutes at 180C, then add extra cheese and bake for a further 10 minutes.
