Ingredients

  • 250 g arrowroot biscuits crushed
  • 200 g condensed milk
  • 120 g butter
  • 4 Cadbury Cherry Ripe chocolate bars diced
  • 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbs margarine
  • 1 pinch coconut *to serve

Method

  • Step 1
Place butter and condensed milk in small saucepan and heat until the butter is just melted. Stir and add to biscuits.
  • Step 2
Add the cherry ripe pieces and mix until combined.
  • Step 3
Press into a lined slice tin and refrigerate while you make the top.
  • Step 4
For top, stir margarine, icing sugar and enough milk to make a tough icing.
  • Step 5
Place the bowl over hot water to make it easier to stir.
  • Step 6
Ice the top of the slice and sprinkle icing with coconut.
  • Step 7
Return to fridge to set and cut into squares.
Recipe Notes

If you still want the cherry ripe pieces chunky, wait a few minutes before you add them as they will melt into the biscuit mix if it's still warm.
