Simple and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 400 g pasta
- 250 g broccoli broken into florets
- 30 g butter
- 250 g leg ham (deli) cut into strips
- 1 tsp garlic crushed
- 6 spring onions chopped
- 200 g mushrooms sliced
- 250 ml thick cream
- 1 tsp fresh curly parsley chopped
Method

Step 1Add pasta to saucepan of rapidly boiling water and cook until tender. Drain.

Step 2Cook broccoli florets in rapidly boiling water for 2 minutes and drain.

Step 3Heat butter in a large pan, add ham strips and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 4Add crushed garlic, spring onions and mushrooms and stir for 2 minutes.

Step 5Add drained pasta, broccoli, cream and parsley and stir until heated through.
Recipe Notes
I use spiral pasta.
This is best cooked just before serving.
I like to use ham off the bone as it has a nice flavour when cooked.
