Recipe Notes

Tomato chutney can substitute tomato sauce.

Use clove garlic or sprinkle of garlic salt.

This can form a base for many variations e.g. try using an old family sauce recipe instead of soy and Worcestershire. With a little imagination you could create a family recipe that could last for generations.

A couple of hours is preferable for refrigerating the mixture as it allows the flavours to fully unite.
