Ingredients
- 2 tbs Butter
- 2 tbs Woolworths Essentials Plain Flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pinch salt
Method

Step 1Place all ingredients into a saucepan at once, over a medium heat and whisk until thick.

Step 2Once thick and simmering, cook for 2 minutes to cook the flour out.

Recipe Notes
You can use margarine instead of butter.
Once you start making this sauce you can't stop whisking until it's thick.
I use this sauce for lasagne and tuna mornay, but you can use it as a base for anything.
