This is a very tasty dish that is easy to prepare and pretty darn healthy.
Ingredients
- 1 tbs butter
- 125 g bacon rashers pieces
- 2 onions chopped large
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 140 g tomato paste
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 tbs white vinegar
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp mustard powder
- 880 g canned mixed beans
- 1 tbs sherry
Method

Step 1Melt butter in deep saucepan and fry bacon, onions and garlic until tender.

Step 2Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 3Serve in deep soup bowls.
