Ingredients

  • 800 g condensed milk
  • 3 bananas large thinly sliced
  • 300 g chocolate biscuits crushed
  • 300 ml double cream
  • 50 g milk chocolate
  • 3 tbs butter melted

Method

  • Step 1
    Caramelise the condensed milk, by filling the saucepan ¾ full with water on high heat.
  • Step 2
    When the water boils place the tins into the saucepan with tongs.
  • Step 3
    Place lid on saucepan and leave to gently boil for 2 hours.
  • Step 4
    Remove after the two hours and leave to cool.
  • Step 5
    Place the biscuit crumbs in a bowl and pour over melted butter. Stir well.
  • Step 6
    Pour the crumbs into a spring form cake tin, press down and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Spread the banana slices over the base and evenly pour condensed milk over the banana.
  • Step 8
    Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Step 9
    Whip the cream until stiff and cover the condensed milk mixture.
  • Step 10
    Cover with grated chocolate and refrigerate.
Recipe Notes
I use chocolate Hob Nob biscuits.
