This is a very easy and tasty homemade tartare sauce for seafood or fish and chips.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbs gherkin relish
- 1 tbs onion powder
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp fresh dill finely chopped *optional
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
Method

Step 1Mix together all ingredients and season with salt and pepper.

Step 2Refrigerate for at least 45 minutes before serving.
Recipe Notes
Bottled minced onion can be used. I usually use ¼ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon fresh black pepper.
