This is a lovely, moist dish and quick and easy to make. It's been a family favourite for at least 3 generations!
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 2 tbs oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tbs cornflour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup (pieces) canned pineapple
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 2 onion sliced
- 1 capsicum cut into strips
- 2 cup rice *to serve
Method

Step 1Brown pork and onions in hot oil on both sides. Remove onions.

Step 2Add water and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove pork and set aside.

Step 3Combine cornflour, salt, sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and soy sauce in pan, stir over low heat until it thickens.

Step 4Add pork, capsicum, onions and pineapple, warm through.

Step 5Serve with rice of choice.
