This is so easy to make and is lovely and moist.
Ingredients
- 230 g butter
- 450 g sultanas
- 340 g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 egg
- 230 g sugar
- 1 pinch salt
Method

Step 1Simmer sultanas in just enough water to cover for 20 minutes. Drain excess water.

Step 2Add chopped butter and mix through sultanas. Beat in eggs, sugar and salt.

Step 3Mix in dry ingredients with butter and sultanas.

Step 4Bake at 170C for 1¼ hours.
