Sugar biscuits. Very tasty and makes a big batch.
Ingredients
- 125 g margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbs golden syrup
- 2 egg
- 2 cup self-raising flour
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 3/4 cup currants
Method

Step 1Cream margarine, sugar and golden syrup together.

Step 2Beat in eggs.

Step 3Add currants.

Step 4Mix in sifted flour and mixed spice.

Step 5Roll into balls and dip into sugar.

Step 6Place on baking tray and press down with fork.

Step 7Bake at 180C for 15-20 minutes.
