A quick, easy and delicious vegetarian stir-fry.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs peanut oil
- 1 onion chopped
- 5 cm ginger minced
- 2 cloves garlic clove minced
- 250 g firm tofu cut into matchsticks
- 1 carrot cut into matchsticks medium
- 1 capsicum
- 100 g green beans topped
- 4 tbs kecap manis
- 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
- 1 coriander
Method

Step 1Wrap the tofu in paper towel and press to remove any moisture.

Step 2Heat oil in wok, add garlic, ginger and onion and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.

Step 3Add tofu and vegetables and continue stir-frying for a few minutes longer, making sure the vegetables are crisp.

Step 4Add kecap manis, salt and pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.

Step 5Cook until heated through.

Step 6Serve with chopped coriander and rice or noodles.

Recipe Notes
I prefer the ABC brand of kecap manis sedang as it's not as sweet as the plain kecap manis.
