Ingredients

  • 600 g skin-on chicken breast fillet
  • 5 shallots finely chopped
  • 3 tbs ginger chopped
  • 4 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tbs garlic minced
  • 2 tbs peanut oil
  • 1/4 tbs fish sauce optional
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 cup bok choy
  • 2 cup rice boiled *to serve

Method

  • Step 1
    Combine shallots, ginger, garlic, soy, oil, and fish sauce.
  • Step 2
    Rub salt onto chicken, then gently steam chicken.
  • Step 3
    Steam bok choy and place on bed of rice.
  • Step 4
    Cut chicken into bite-sized slices and place on rice.
  • Step 5
    Cover with ginger and shallot sauce.
Recipe Notes
Add or reduce ingredients as per individual taste. I tend to ensure there is a heap of the sauce. Chicken thigh can be used.
