Sausages and vegetables in a casserole dish with chopped cabbage piled on top.
Ingredients
- 8 sausage
- 1 cabbage chopped
- 125 g bacon rashers diced
- 2 carrot diced
- 2 onion diced
- 2 potato peeled sliced
Method

Step 1Place bacon, carrot and onion in a frying pan and cook for a few minutes.

Step 2Layer sliced potato over the base of a deep casserole dish, then spread the bacon mixture on top.

Step 3Blanch sausages in boiling water until firm to the touch and remove.

Step 4Place cabbage on top of bacon mixture.

Step 5Place sausages on top, sprinkle with a small amount of water and cover with a lid or aluminium foil.

Step 6Bake at 180C for 1-1½ hours.
