Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato
  • 125 g salted butter
  • 100 ml full cream milk
  • 1 tbs sour cream
  • 2 garlic clove
  • 1 pinch salt *to taste

Method

  • Step 1
    Peel potatoes and cut in medium size cubes.
  • Step 2
    Boil in water with 2 sliced garlic cloves for 20 minutes or until soft.
  • Step 3
    Drain water, discard garlic and put potatoes into a mixing bowl.
  • Step 4
    Add butter and salt and mash completely.
  • Step 5
    Add milk, sour cream and mix until smooth.
Recipe Notes
For various consistencies vary the quantity of milk.
