For when you want potatoes but a bit different.
Ingredients
- 4 potato large
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup cheese grated
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
Method

Step 1Place cheese, egg and flour into a mixing bowl and make into a thick batter with the milk.

Step 2Peel potatoes and slice into fritters about 1 cm thick.

Step 3Parboil in a saucepan of water until almost cooked. Drain on kitchen paper.

Step 4Dip potatoes into the stirred batter mixture and drop into hot oil in an electric frypan, until golden brown.

Step 5Serve salted and hot.
