A delicious caramel treat that is quick and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 400 g condensed milk
- 125 g butter chopped
- 1 tbs liquid glucose
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbs golden syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
Method

Step 1Place condensed milk, butter, glucose, sugar and golden syrup into a large microwave safe bowl and mix well.

Step 2Cook on high for 5 minutes.

Step 3Cook for a further 10 minutes on medium high, stirring every 2 minutes.

Step 4Add vanilla essence and beat well.

Step 5Pour hot caramel into a greased lamington tin and refrigerate until partially set.

Step 6Remove from fridge and cut into squares.

Step 7Return to fridge to set.
Recipe Notes
Patty cases can be used, pour a little into each one and set in fridge. Place a thin layer onto a greased tray and allow to set completely in the fridge. When set crack into small pieces and use to decorate cakes etc.
