Melt in the mouth lemony treats.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup custard powder
- 180 g butter
- 1/3 cup icing sugar
- 1 tbs lemon rind grated
Method

Step 1Cream together butter, sifted icing sugar until light and fluffy, add lemon rind.

Step 2Add sifted dry ingredients and mix to a stiff dough.

Step 3Roll into small balls and place on ungreased baking trays.

Step 4Flatten slightly with a fork. Dip fork into flour occasionally to prevent it sticking to dough.

Step 5Bake at 180C for 10-15 minutes or until set and pale gold in colour.
