An easy traditional Mexican dip served with corn chips, nachos - anything Mexican!
Ingredients
- 1 avocado chopped
- 1 roma tomato finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp crushed garlic
- 4 drops Tabasco
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 1 tsp salt and pepper
Method

Step 1Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mash with a fork until the desired consistency is obtained.
Recipe Notes
Use as much or as little of the Tabasco sauce as you want, depending on your tastes. I sometimes add a dollop of sour cream and use the stick blender to make it creamier. I have started adding about a quarter of a finely chopped red onion and it gives it a great flavour.
