Easy and quick to make, and tastes good too.
Ingredients
- 500 g fish fillets diced steamed
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 onion finely chopped medium
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 4 tbs parsley chopped
- 1 salt and pepper *to taste
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 3 cup potato cooked mashed
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cheddar cheese grated *to serve
Method

Step 1Melt butter in pan, add onion and garlic and sauté until transparent.

Step 2Remove from heat and add parsley, salt and pepper, fish and wine or water. Mix all together.

Step 3Pour mixture into greased ovenproof dish and top with mashed potatoes to completely cover.

Step 4Brush top with milk and sprinkle liberally with grated cheese.

Step 5Bake at 200C for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Recipe Notes
Serve with salad or your favorite steamed vegetables. You can use water instead of wine.
