Ingredients

  • 500 g penne
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 6 bacon rashers chopped
  • 1 cup black olives halved
  • 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
  • 750 g tomato puree
  • 200 g fetta crumbled
  • 12 basil sliced
  • 1 tbs parsley
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method

  • Step 1
    Boil pasta until cooked. Drain and add to a large bowl.
  • Step 2
    In a saucepan fry up bacon and onion.
  • Step 3
    Add olives, crushed tomatoes and puree.
  • Step 4
    Add feta and basil to pasta.
  • Step 5
    Once sauce mixture is heated pour over pasta and add parsley, Parmesan cheese and salt.
  • Step 6
    Serve with crusty bread and a salad.

  • 1 saucepan
Recipe Notes
A very quick and easy yummy pasta salad. You can eat it hot or cold. Use tomato puree or pasta sauce.
