A yummy warm, or cool Italian pasta salad.
Ingredients
- 500 g penne
- 1 onion chopped
- 6 bacon rashers chopped
- 1 cup black olives halved
- 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
- 750 g tomato puree
- 200 g fetta crumbled
- 12 basil sliced
- 1 tbs parsley
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method

Step 1Boil pasta until cooked. Drain and add to a large bowl.

Step 2In a saucepan fry up bacon and onion.

Step 3Add olives, crushed tomatoes and puree.

Step 4Add feta and basil to pasta.

Step 5Once sauce mixture is heated pour over pasta and add parsley, Parmesan cheese and salt.

Step 6Serve with crusty bread and a salad.

A very quick and easy yummy pasta salad. You can eat it hot or cold. Use tomato puree or pasta sauce.
