These are nice, because the chocolate and everything inside goes gooey. They are very nice served with ice cream as they can be rich on their own. If you are a true chocolate lover maybe try it with a little bit of cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on the outside.
Ingredients
- 2 Mars Bars
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 10 tbs water
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
Method

Step 1Mix together a batter mixture with the flour, water and salt.

Step 2Mixture should be runny with no bubbles or lumps.

Step 3Place a small saucepan on the stove and pour in enough oil to just cover the Mars Bars.

Step 4Heat at a low temperature. Drop in a little pinch of batter, if the batter rises, bubbles and browns it is ready.

Step 5Using tongs, dip the Mars Bars into the batter mix, covering the entire bar.

Step 6Place it in the saucepan and shallow fry for 1 minute or until crunchy and golden.

Step 7Remove and place on a plate with paper towel so excess oil can be soaked up.

Tips to convert this recipe to cook in an air fryer
This recipes calls for quite a runny batter. Reduce the liquid to make a thicker batter and you might need to increase the cook time.
