Can't get the crunch around the edges of your roast potatoes? Try this and cut cooking time in half!
Ingredients
- 1 potato cubed
- 1 olive oil
- 1 salt
- 1 cup water
Method

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 170C.

Step 2Steam potatoes in microwave safe dish in microwave with water for 6 minutes.

Step 3Drain out water using a colander or strainer, while the potatoes are in this strainer, swirl them around and shake them to mix.

Step 4Place in a greased oven dish, drizzle olive oil over them and sprinkle with salt.

Step 5Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning 3 times during cooking until cooked through.
Recipe Notes
For best results when steaming, use a container that has a lid with a release valve for reheating/steaming and a rack at the bottom for potatoes to sit out of the water.
