You won't need a sauce for this party entree. A very crispy chicken wing. All the kids love them. - oldsheila

Ingredients

  • 2 tbs vegetable oil
  • 20 chicken wing
  • 3 egg beaten
  • 2 tbs milk
  • 2 cup fresh breadcrumbs

Seasoned flour

  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 3/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp coriander crushed
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper

Method

  • Step 1
    Cut chicken wings in half at the elbow, don't use the tip.
  • Step 2
    Pare the meat away from the bone. Pull the meat towards the shoulder. It will look like a small drumstick)
  • Step 3
    In a deep fryer, heat oil to 375C.
  • Step 4
    In a large bowl, combine all seasoned flour ingredients. Dredge chicken wings with this mixture.
  • Step 5
    In a seperate bowl, whip milk and eggs.
  • Step 6
    Dip chicken wings in the liquid then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Step 7
    Preheat oven to 175C.
  • Step 8
    Fry chicken wings in deep fryer for 4 minutes,
  • Step 9
    Finish cooking process in oven for 10-15 minutes
