Great family pasta even the kids will enjoy.
Ingredients
- 250 g pasta
- 3 cup mixed vegetables chopped into pieces
- 1/2 cup bacon rashers diced
- 1 1/2 cup cheese grated
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 tbs self-raising flour
- 2 cup milk
Method

Step 1In a medium saucepan, cook pasta until tender.

Step 2Place vegetables into a saucepan and cook until tender. Drain.

Step 3In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Add flour and ¼ of the milk, whisk until smooth then add the rest of the milk and ½ cup of the cheese.

Step 4Stir continuously until sauce is thick.

Step 5Add half the sauce mixture to the vegetables and add the other half to the pasta. Mix both carefully until well combined.

Step 6Place pasta in a large casserole dish and layer with the vegetables.

Step 7Sprinkle with diced bacon and remaining cheese.

Step 8Bake at 180C until cheese is melted and golden brown.
Recipe Notes
I use spiral pasta and use carrot, broccoli, cauliflower. But you can use whatever vegetables you prefer.
