Deliciously sweet.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs oil
- 1/3 cup popcorn raw
- 250 g butter
- 4 tbs honey
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
Method

Step 1Grease well a 28 x 18 cm cake tin with some extra melted butter.

Step 2Pop the corn according to directions on the pack with the oil.

Step 3Place popcorn in prepared tin.

Step 4Melt the butter in a saucepan, add honey and sugar and stir over a low heat until sugar dissolves.

Step 5Boil without stirring for approximately 8 minutes or until mixture makes a small crack sound when half a teaspoonful is tested in cold water.

Step 6Remove from heat and allow bubbles to subside. Pour over popcorn.

Step 7Allow to set hard before breaking into pieces.
Recipe Notes
You can add unsalted roasted peanuts in with the popcorn before pouring over caramel.
