A very yummy banana bread my whole family loves.
Ingredients
- 2 bananas ripe
- 2 tbs golden syrup
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg whites
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 pinch salt
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C (160C fan-forced).

Step 2Grease and line the base of a loaf pan.

Step 3In a medium bowl, mash bananas then add golden syrup. Add sugar and stir in.

Step 4Add egg, sifted flour and salt, and lightly mix until combined.

Step 5Pour into loaf pan, bake for 30-45minutes, or until skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.

Step 6Allow to cool in tin for 10 minutes, then turn onto wire rack to cool.

Recipe Notes
You can also make variations to this by throwing in a handful of chopped dates or walnuts just before pouring into tin to bake, or add choc chips to make chocolate banana bread.
