An easy dish to take to a barbecue.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 kg baby potatoes
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 tbs paprika
- 6 bacon rashers chopped
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese grated
Method

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 200C.

Step 2Cut potatoes in wedges.

Step 3Place wedges into a large bowl, add olive oil and toss well.

Step 4Add paprika and toss until well coated.

Step 5Place wedges into an aluminium foil barbeque tray.

Step 6Bake for 40 minutes.

Step 7Sprinkle chopped bacon over wedges and cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 8Sprinkle grated cheese over wedges and cook for a further 10 minutes until cheese has melted.
Recipe Notes
You can use gruyere or tasty cheese instead of cheddar.
I use an aluminium tray as it can be filled to the brim and is easy to take to barbecues to be reheated.
