A quick and easy microwave recipe for a weekend breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup self-raising flour
- 1 tbs caster sugar
- 100 g 99.8% fat-free natural yoghurt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup skim milk
- 1 cup canned pie apple
- 2 tbs low-joule caramel topping
- 2 tbs low-joule caramel topping
Method

Step 1Lightly coat 6 microwave-safe muffin pans or ramekin dishes with cooking spray.

Step 2Sift the flour into a medium bowl and stir in the sugar.

Step 3Combine yoghurt, egg, milk, apples and caramel topping in a separate bowl, then add to the flour mixture. Stir gently until just combined.

Step 4Spoon mixture into the prepared pans and microwave on high for 6-7 minutes.

Step 5Serve with extra caramel topping.
